The Global B Corp Climate Collective is led by local entrepreneurs within the B Corp Community who volunteer their time, talent, and treasure to advance this important work. We invite you to get involved in one of our current regional collectives below!

 

UK Climate Action Groups

Working Action Groups of the B Corp Climate Collective
  1. Offsetting + Net Zero to share best practice and provide guidance on net zero and offsetting

  2. Employee awareness to improve awareness of the climate crisis amongst B Corp employees.

  3. COP26 to explore how B Corps can contribute to a successful COP 26

  4. Regenerative agriculture to share learning and experience of journeys towards a more regenerative agriculture.

  5. Energy consumption of the internet to raise awareness of the increasing energy consumption by the internet.

  6. Plastics and Packaging to encourage brands and manufacturers to use recycled content in packaging.

 

 

US/Canada Climate Action Groups

Working Action Groups of the B Corp Climate Collective
  1. B Corp Climate Advocacy explores opportunities to activate B Corps around policy advocacy and works closely with Ceres BICEP to present such opportunities to the community.

  2. B Corp Climate Action develops and deploys resources around greenhouse gas reduction and best practices for companies to use in their pursuit of climate-positive behavior.

  3. B Corp Climate Employee Engagement develops tools and approaches for activating employees at B Corps to engage more deeply around climate activism and seeks to raise awareness at the employee level about individual actions and opportunities for affecting change.

  4. B Corp Sustainable Packaging / Just Design researches and develops more sustainable options for product packaging and works to share learnings with other B Corps to utilize the findings.

  5. B Corp Climate Collective Steering Committee supports the strategic direction of the B Corp Climate Collective, ensuring alignment on group structure, objectives, and collective vision.

  6. B Corp Climate Justice Learning Task Force seeks to deepen understanding around the intersection of justice and climate change by integrating a justice lens across the work of the US/CAN B Corp Climate Collective action groups.

  7. B Corp SPARC Action Group engages executives from the highest emitters to encourage them to adopt more climate-just practices in their organizations.

  8. B Corp Climate Collective Communications leverages the work of the US/CAN action groups through external marketing and communications, including website, social media, and press opportunities, while also supporting the internal connectivity and knowledge sharing between groups.

 

 

Australia & AOTEAROA / New Zealand Climate Action Groups

 
 

The AANZ B Corp Climate Collective’s main objectives for 2022/23 are: 

  • to encourage B Corps to reach each of these climate action milestones

  • to encourage all B Corps to reduce carbon emissions by switching or committing local operations to 100% renewable energy

  • to encourage more B Corps to combine their influence and advocate for a just transition to a low emissions economy in Australia

  • to recruit new members to join the AANZ BCCC
