B Lab & the B Corp Climate Collective (BCCC) are partnering with the SME Climate Hub and Science-Based Targets initiative, partners in the Race to Zero campaign, to administer net zero commitments moving forward. We hope that this change will streamline the landscape of net zero definitions and commitments, advance accountability measures to see these commitments through, and ensure companies are getting the highest level of support possible on their climate action journeys.
ALL companies who wish to remain or become part of a net zero commitment (and the Race to Zero) MUST sign up through one of these partners:
For companies with fewer than 500 employees, we recommend joining the SME Climate Hub. Companies can sign up here and access the tools and resources they need to take climate action.
For companies with over 500 employees, we are partnering with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Companies can sign up here, and should be sure to select a submission track setting a long-term science-based target to reach net-zero emissions (not only near-term science-based targets).
If you have any questions about these changes, please see our FAQ page.

The B Corp Climate Collective’s Net Zero 2030 campaign has been officially retired after September 15, 2022.
What does this mean for the future of the BCCC? The BCCC will continue to exist and be stewarded by the global network of B Lab and Sistema B organizations through our regional climate collectives and action groups, with a focus on driving the B Corp community toward collective action on climate while centering climate justice.
Moving forward, we plan to list Certified B Corps who have committed to net zero through our Race to Zero Partners, the SME Climate Hub and SBTi.
