Certified B Corporations lead a growing global movement of people driving business as a force for good. Across the B Corp Movement, the overarching belief is the role of entrepreneurship to contribute to tackling pressing social and environmental issues.

On December 11, 2019, at the UN Climate Change Conference, COP25, in Madrid, over 500 B Corps took the stage and publicly committed to accelerate the reduction of their greenhouse gas emissions to reach a 1.5 degree trajectory leading to net zero by the year 2030.

The B Corp global community recently celebrated the anniversary of this commitment. One year in (and what a year that was!), we acknowledge that translating it to the practice is easier said than done. How do organizations go about tailoring Net Zero to their own operating reality then, and how do they take their first steps in making it actionable?
