Highlights from the Inaugural B Corp Global Climate Summit
Last week, our global community of B Corps gathered to take action on the climate emergency centered in people and justice at the inaugural B Corp Global Climate Summit, held across three days - June 29-30 & July 1, 2021. We gathered over 5,600 attendees from more than 100 countries around the world, and had 240 speakers who spoke across the 76 sessions that were hosted as part of the Summit.
We want to give a special thanks to all Global Partner organizers, conveners, hosts, and facilitators who organized some outstanding sessions and made this unprecedented global event possible for the B Corp community and beyond. We'd also like to give a huge thanks to our event sponsors from around the world, especially those at t he Platinum level: Danone North America, Natura & Co, Gerdau and Happily.

Though the live sessions are complete, you can still view the session recordings to revisit content and resources or view what you might have missed. Our various session hosts have tried to record as many sessions as possible, and we are working on getting those edited and uploaded now for your viewing. Check out the B Corp Global Climate Summit 2021 playlist on the B Corporation YouTube channel for all recordings that have been uploaded so far. We will also make the session recordings and further resources available on the Summit Sched site at https://bcorpglobalclimatesummit.sched.com/ under each session as they become available.
Take the Net Zero 2030 Survey
If you are among the 1,300+ B Corps and other companies committed to achieving Net Zero by 2030 and are listed on the B Corp Climate Collective website, you are required to complete a short survey about your progress against this commitment no later than July 30, 2021 in order to remain listed. Highlights from the Summit
B Lab Europe launched the Interdependence Coalition at the Summit, calling for the mandatory adoption of stakeholder governance across the European Union.
